The play by heart and head v play by data is something I’m torn on.
My heart and head said no to Joao Pedro. But his EO is so high the analysis tab shows he would really kill anyone not holding him in the first 5 game weeks (potentially). Do I want to risk that? Stats and head say no.
Yeah, not including him is one of the biggest risks, and frankly, I wouldn't want to take it after his performances last year, especially as I can see Chelsea easily challenging for the top 3. I could be wrong, but that’s how it feels to me at the moment.
Thanks Filip. I’ve found Solio really expensive as I had to buy a big screen for my computer (joking). It’s a great tool and you can happily lose a lot of time. I found the best feature when I looked at it last season were the ideas I hadn’t thought of. Not all were usable but it set me off on a different path.
Helpful summary. I was an early user of Solio - 2 seasons ago I did poorly because I over-relied on it without considering how best to use it. Last year I was more intentional in my use of it and did much better. Learning how to best use analytics tools is part of life, and FPL is no exception
Thank you, Matt! And well said. It can be a great servant but a bad master. Once you find what really works for you, though, it can be incredibly useful and make life easier in all sorts of situations
